Since COVID-19 ensued, the education sector of the entire world was hard hit. Regular classes were put to a halt and virtual classes were in some cases not feasible due to different technological, technical and financial constraints. In this regard, GEIST International Foundation along with its different country based chapters organized multiple virtual sessions which engaged educators, education specialists, students and researchers where they discussed the multidimensional impact of COVID on the education sector and also the ways to get out of this crisis from their own country perspectives. For instance, the students explained how the pandemic caused mental health issues and teachers collaborated on finding out the best methods of teaching in the virtual platforms.
