GSE 2024 welcomes all educators across the globe to join the six day learning carnival to be held virtually.

Global Summit on Education 2024 is a vibrant platform designed to engage leaders and practitioners in global education including the State Alumni and students to involve in innovative practices, collaborative opportunities and inspiration to make teaching learning a joyful endeavour and to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life.

Goals

Primary Goals:

- Inspire and Mobilize: Stimulate public interest and engagement in climate
  action.
- Accelerate Innovation: Foster the development and deployment of cutting-edge
  climate solutions.
- Recognize Excellence: Celebrate and reward outstanding achievements in
  climate leadership and innovation.
- Promote Collaboration: Facilitate knowledge sharing and partnerships among
  stakeholders.
- Inform Policy: Provide valuable data and insights to policymakers for evidence-based decision-making.

Secondary Goals:

- Educate the Public: Raise awareness about climate change and its impacts.
- Empower Youth: Create opportunities for young people to lead and innovate on climate issues.
- Bridge Divides: Foster unity and cooperation among nations and communities.
- Drive Economic Growth: Demonstrate that climate action can create jobs and
  economic opportunities.
- Protect Biodiversity: Highlight the interconnectedness of climate change and biodiversity loss.

The Mission

The mission of the Global Summit on Education (GSE) 2024, hosted by Department of Education, Kathmandu, University & Nepal -US Alumni Network & co host by GEIST International Foundation, Motherland Secondary School & Swostishree Gurukul, Nepal is to share the best practices of pedagogy within and beyond the classroom among the educators and to network with other innovative thinkers on contemporary issues in education pertaining to professional development.

Aims & Scopes

The summit will also provide ample opportunities to students through participation, collaboration, networking and exposire leading to enhacnement of global competence.

Who can Join?

The “Global Sumit of Education” would be aimed at a broad audience within the educational field.
• Educators:
This includes teachers, professors, instructors, and other professionals directly involved in teaching.
• Educational Leaders:
This encompasses school principals, superintendents, deans, and administrators who oversee educational institutions.
• Educational Researchers:
These are individuals who research various aspects of education, curriculum
development, and learning methodologies.
• Stakeholders in Education:
This could include policy makers, representatives from educational NGOs,
curriculum developers, and educational technology
companies.
• Students of Education:
Graduate students pursuing
degrees in education or related fields could benefit from exposure to current trends and leadership strategies.

Hybrid. Parallel sessions will be held virtually on August 2nd, with a high-level segment on August 3rd offering both virtual and in-person participation.

Submit your abstract by following the instructions below (details not included here but likely on the conference website).

• Open to Observers:
You can still attend the conference even if you’re not presenting. Register on the conference website (opening in September 2024).

GSE 2024 invites abstracts within 7 themes, each with dedicated tracks. Ensure your abstract directly relates to a specific theme and track.

Interested presenters should submit an abstract of at least 300 words but not exceeding 500 words, in English, by October 20, 2024, via the form below. Each abstract may only be submitted once and under one track. Failure to answer questions on the submission form or the submission of the same abstract under multiple tracks is likely to result in the abstract being declined.
The conference committee will review abstracts and send all decision letters by 25 October, 2024. Abstracts can be accepted as either poster or oral (i.e. PowerPoint) presentations. Presenters invited to give oral presentations may submit a full paper by 5 November, 2024, in order to maintain their position in the conference journal. Presenters who do not register before the 10 November, 2024, deadline may also forfeit their spot in the agenda
