World Championship on Climate Action - 2024

Goal

A World Championship on Climate Action will serve as a powerful platform to accelerate global efforts to combat climate change.

Objectives of a World Championship on Climate Action 2024

A World Championship on Climate Action should aim to:

  • Accelerate climate solutions: Catalyze the development and implementation of
    innovative and scalable climate solutions.
  • Inspire global action: Stimulate public interest and engagement in climate
    change and its solutions.
  •  Recognize and reward climate leadership: Highlight and celebrate individuals
    and organizations making significant contributions to climate action.
  • Foster international cooperation: Facilitate knowledge sharing and
    partnerships among nations, businesses, and civil society.
  • Mobilize resources: Attract investment and support for climate-related projects
    and initiatives.

 

Specific Objectives:

  • Promote sustainable innovation: Encourage the development of new
    technologies, business models, and policies for a low-carbon future.
  • Empower youth: Provide a platform for young people to showcase their climate
    solutions and leadership.
  • Build capacity: Enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals and
    organizations working on climate issues.

  • Climate Entrepreneur: Recognizing individuals who have successfully launched climate-focused businesses or social enterprises.
