EMK Inclusive Education: Ensuring successful inclusion & quality education for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
As part of our unwavering commitment to inclusive education, GEIST International Foundation, in collaboration with EMK Center, proudly hosted a two-day educational workshop under the banner of “EMK Inclusive Education: Ensuring Successful Inclusion & Quality for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.” Held in Khulna, the program marked a significant milestone in building awareness, capacity, and community around Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Day 01: Empowering Parents and Students
This day focused on engaging parents and students, offering hands-on guidance, expert-led sessions, and support strategies tailored for families of children with ASD. Parents left better equipped to advocate for their children and foster a supportive home learning environment.
Day 02: Training Teachers and Educational Staff
Dedicated to educators and school personnel, this day provided vital training on inclusive teaching methodologies, individualized education planning, and creating ASD-friendly classrooms. The goal: to enable educators to lead with empathy, understanding, and evidence-based practices.
This initiative represents a shared vision for a future where every child, regardless of neurodiversity, has access to quality education in an inclusive setting. The workshop not only built awareness but also laid the foundation for sustainable change in Khulna’s educational landscape.
Together, through knowledge, collaboration, and compassion, we are shaping a brighter, more inclusive future for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
