GEIST International Foundation, in collaboration with Dhaka University Model OIC Club, Aspire to Innovate (a2i) under the ICT Division, and the U.S. Department of State, organized the first-ever youth assembly dedicated to climate action at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Dhaka.

The Global Youth Assembly on Climate Action (GYACA) 2023 aimed to educate and empower young leaders by providing a platform to develop diplomatic skills and propose solutions to pressing climate challenges. The event featured workshops facilitated by international speakers and formal sessions where delegates discussed country-specific climate contexts and proposed actionable solutions aligned with the principles of Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE).

The assembly concluded with the development of six strategic action plans focused on the six elements of ACE, as mandated by the UNFCCC. The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Partha Protim Nath from The World Bank, who provided insightful feedback and closing remarks.

Outstanding participants were recognized with various awards, celebrating their leadership, creativity, and commitment to climate action.

Through GYACA 2023, GEIST International Foundation continues to inspire youth engagement in building a sustainable future.
