About IOCA

GEIST International Foundation is going to organize an International Olympiad on climate awareness and action. The students will be able to participate in this Olympiad in both online and offline ways. The offline competition will take place at Adamas University, Kolkata, India. IOCA will take place on October 23, 2022 both online and offline. The Olympiad will have two separate events. The first is an Olympiad where the students will participate in an Examination which will test their knowledge on the environment, the climate and the surroundings. The other segment is ‘Presenting Climate Solutions to the World’ where the participants will provide a presentation explaining the various climate related constraints prevalent in their country and will present a viable solution towards fighting one or more than one climate related problem.

Participation Modes

  • Olympiad Quiz- 23rd October, 2022 at 02:00 PM Indian Standard Time
  • Presentation on ‘Presenting Climate Solutions to the World’– 23rd October, 2022 at 04:00 PM Indian Standard Time

Eligibility Criteria

  • Participant has to be a student from Grade 6 to Grade 10.
  • If participating online, the participant must have a decent internet connectivity and a mobile or desktop computer.

Registration Fee

The registration fee is complimentary (FREE). GEIST International Foundation will sponsor your participation in the Olympiad.
