GEIST International Foundation successfully organized two international webinars focusing on ocean sustainability, environmental awareness, and youth engagement. The programs brought together educators, researchers, and students from different countries to discuss the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and promoting sustainable practices among young generations.

Regional Youth Engagement in Ocean Sustainability

The webinar titled “Regional Youth Engagement in Ocean Sustainability” was organized to inspire young people to become active contributors to environmental protection and ocean conservation. The session featured renowned speakers including Dr. Sabyasachi Majumdar, President of GEIST Global India, Dr. Sudeshna Chatterjee, Secretary General of Sea Explorers’ Institute, India, and Ms. Vu Nhu Trang, STEM/Science Teacher from FPT Primary and Secondary School, Hanoi, Vietnam.

The speakers discussed the importance of regional collaboration, youth leadership, climate awareness, and sustainable actions to protect oceans and marine biodiversity. Participants from different countries joined the interactive session through Zoom and exchanged ideas on environmental responsibility and global sustainability.

Ocean Literacy: A Student’s Perspective

GEIST International Foundation also organized another international webinar titled “Ocean Literacy: A Student’s Perspective”, which provided a platform for students from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Vietnam to share their thoughts, experiences, and ideas regarding ocean conservation and environmental sustainability.

The session was conducted under the guidance of keynote speaker Dr. Sabyasachi Majumdar, President of GEIST Global India. Student speakers from different educational institutions highlighted the importance of ocean literacy, environmental awareness, and youth participation in protecting marine ecosystems.

Through these webinars, GEIST International Foundation continues its commitment to promoting global citizenship, sustainability education, environmental awareness, and international collaboration among students, educators, and young leaders worldwide.
